We are a same sex couple and were very nervous about finding a wedding cake bakery in the north west. We were referred to Arctic Cakes by another same sex couple that got married earlier this year. We went for our tasting in the shop and were welcomed warmly. We had a great time chatting with Lauren, the main baker, as we tried all kinds of combinations of cake and filling. We decided on white cake with lemon curd and raspberry filling. The cake was light and fluffy, and the filling was fresh and not overly sweet. We loved the cake and were very happy with the price. On the day of our wedding, the cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. We had many comments from our guests on how delicious the cake was. We couldn’t be happier to now have a new local bakery to visit for all our cake needs. Thank you Arctic Cakes!

I’ve had numerous cakes from Arctic Cakes and none have disappointed. Their cakes are amazing. Every cake is made from scratch, with real ingredients, and true to their name. They are the only bakery I know that can make a full English wedding cake (5 tiers, with real raspberry fruit!) And their name isn’t just marketing fluff. They really do make the most amazing cakes.

We had our wedding in June 2020, and due to the pandemic our original date had been moved. We had planned to have our wedding in June 2021. However, with the pandemic in the world and the state of Washington, we decided it would be best to move our wedding to June 2022. They were extremely accommodating and made us a smaller wedding cake, and a large birthday cake for my husband, so we could celebrate with a little bit of everything on our original day. They are the best of the best, and I know that you will love them if you try their cakes.
