We are so happy we chose bloom to do our wedding cake. They were recommended to us by our caterer and we are so glad we checked them out. It is hard to find a baker that does a variety of flavors well. Most bakeries either do a couple of flavors really well and then move on to the more popular ones, or they do not have a flavor that catches your eye. At bloom, they have a huge variety of cakes, fillings, and frosting flavors. They make everything from scratch and you can taste the difference in a way that is much more enjoyable than having a super sugary cake. We had a hard time choosing a flavor for our cake because we wanted them all! We ended up choosing a lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting. It was light and not too heavy after all the cake cutting! Working with Nick and Katie was a lot of fun and easy to talk to. They helped us pick out a design that was not too complex but still pretty. They have books you can choose designs from and then bring in photos if you want something a little different. Seeing the cake for the first time is probably the best part - they make all the decorations out of frosting and edible glitter and it is absolutely beautiful! We were so happy with our cake that we decided to order a small one for our rehearsal dinner. We chose a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache frosting. It was to die for! All of our guests were raving about how good it was and how pretty it looked. Our wedding is still a year away, but we can’t wait to have it again!
